Dr. Joseph Raymond P. De Leon received his medical degree from De La Salle – Health Sciences Institute within six years upon graduating High School through an accelerated medical program. He then completed his one year internship and got board certified on August 2010.
Doc Joe has big dreams and an endless thirst for more skills and knowledge. His patience, attention to detail, and love for the science of beauty pushed him into the field of Cosmetic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine. He completed his training in Aesthetic Medicine under the Philippine Academy of Non-Surgical Aesthetics, and recently received his Board Certification in Aesthetics and Anti-Aging Medicine under the Philippine Academy of Medical Specialists. He completed his Fellowship training in General Cosmetic Surgery under the Pan Pacific Aesthetic Institute.
Besides Cosmetic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine, Dr. De Leon has also been practicing Integrative and Functional Medicine due to certain life experiences which propelled the importance of Preventive Health to the forefront of his practice. He believes in combining the best of both Conventional Western Medicine and Traditional Eastern Medicine in the healing of the whole person rather than just the current symptoms at hand.
At present, his special clinical interests are Stem Cell Therapy (Trained in Bangkok, Thailand), Cellular Therapeutics and Bio-Molecular Solutions (Trained in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia), and Platelet Rich Plasma Treatments or Prolotherapy. For Minimally-Invasive Aesthetic Procedures, he loves achieving balance by using Energy Based Devices, Botulinum Toxin, Dermal Fillers, Face Threads, HIKO Threads, and COG Threads, plus the systemic support that can be achieved by having Intravenous Vitamins such as Myer's Cocktail, Glutathione Beauty Drip, Placenta, Collagen, CoQ10, and Liver Anti-Toxin. In the field of Integrative Medicine, Doc Joe considers himself as a Health Manager by giving all the options available to patients with acute and chronic illnesses, degenerative and aging diseases, as well as cancer support and management.
He is a member of the Philippine Medical Association, the Philippine College of Occupational Medicine, the Philippine Society for Stem Cell Medicine, the Pan Pacific Aesthetic Institute, the Philippine Academy of Non-Surgical Aesthetics, the Philippine Academy of Medical Specialists, and the Preventive, Regenerative, Integrative Medical Alliance. He is a Lifetime Member and Fellow of the Philippine Academy of Aesthetics and Age-Management Medicine. He is an International Member of the World Society Interdisciplinary in Anti-Aging Medicine and the Global Stem Cells Network. He is a regularly sought-after health lecturer and workshop facilitator for Lifestyle Medicine and Wellness, and some of his favorite topics are Stress Management, Lifestyle Diseases, and Nutrition.
